The primary beach facility within the Perdido Key Area of Gulf Islands National Seashore, named after Rosamond Johnson, the first Black serviceman from the county killed in the Korean War. Features seasonal lifeguards, restrooms, picnic pavilion, boat ramp for kayaks and paddleboards, and the Perdido Key Discovery Trail boardwalk. Access to both the Gulf of Mexico and Big Lagoon. Historically significant as a designated beach for African Americans during segregation. Entrance fee required.
