The only lifeguarded swimming beach within the Fort Pickens Area of Gulf Islands National Seashore. Features a single picnic pavilion and bathhouse combination, two outdoor showers, and seasonal lifeguards (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Named after Loomis L. Langdon, an early Fort Pickens commander. Battery Langdon sits directly across from the beach. Gulf Islands entrance fee required ($25 per vehicle, valid 7 days). No pets, glass, or driving on beach.
